I have no idea where the silly russian pics to the right came from. They are not my doing and look silly to me.

 Today is Friday, Jan. 4th, 2008, the day after the Iowa Caucus for Oboma and Edwards. It looks good politically. We will have to wait and see. In 5 days it will be time for New Hampshire...

I am hoping to get an apartment soon - low income housing. I will store wood for the boat there. If I don't know about the apartment before the 15th or so, I will forgo the apartment and focus on the boat.

Dec 2007   This I hope will be a daily blog - like a journal. I am going to give this a test.

Jan 10 2008 - Just as they were offering me an apartment, Mitch at 2nd wave offered me a free 22' Tanzer Sailboat. When it snows it rains. I am very much in a quandry.

It is a mildewy rusty old bucket, but I fell in love with it. (ofcourse) There is a livaboard berth for $155 mo across the Sound - if I can also afford $300,000 worth of liability insurance and - of course - get it across the sound. It's a gail outside now.

I'm looking it all over. The apt. people are dickering around, lots...
